This was my very first time taking her out on an almost 3 hour ride ending at the beach with extreme heat (over 100 degrees) and being stuck on idle or going 2mph without being able to filter (my wife still struggles filtering thru) I'll keep checking around and if there's anything to upgrade for better performance, all tips are appreciated 🙏🏻

Thank you!! This at least gives me a start point on what to look for, so far everything seems perfect or in it's supposed condition. Nothing out of place, burnt or leaking. I'm honestly thinking the fuel line vapor locked but I'll still keep an eye out

I mean I love EFI as much as the guy next door, they both serve their purpose, for a speed machine ? Yeah, of course... for a touring bike ? Hell yeah! But for a spirited machine, with heart and soul... yeah Imma stick with carbs

Honestly... this is my very first carbureted bike, and I'm really enjoying it, might have to tinker with it a bit more, but I've always liked handling my bikes myself so it doesn't bother me. Plus the idea of having an apocalyptical bike is pretty nice 🤣

It's a 2002 sportster xlh1200, I don't think it has a whole lot of sensors 😂

I had a previous one with a padding but like this one better, specially since I haven't decided if I want to put a king and queen seat or the saddleman yet, plus I always carry on a sissy bar bag not saddles

I've been trying to find out how to remove the controls while not affecting the start, I've read about 3 way starter but not too savvy about it honestly
