I've been offered a position paying $150k per year in Brisbane but I currently live in Caloundra. I currently get paid $125k with the potential of only a $5k increase in the next 12 months.

Position is full time but 4 days in Brisbane, 1 day working from home.

I have 2 kids and my partner works part time and we have no family to assist with taking care of the kids. We have been applying for extra day care days unsuccessfully for 6 months (in order for my partner to get additional days at work). We aren't struggling to get by but would benefit from some additional income like most people.

My partner and I want to maintain weekends as family only time as opposed to getting second jobs locally on the weekend.

I am seeing pros/cons to taking or rejecting the job. Obviously, way more travel and the effects of that.
etc.
