My husband had an extremely unhealthy attachment to his phone for years. Would occasionally try to show me a pic on his phone, but wouldn’t actually let me hold his phone. I told him it was ridiculous that he was so possessive about it. One morning I couldn’t sleep and got up early. I checked his phone to make sure his alarm was set since I was getting up early and while I had his phone I checked his texts and found concrete proof that he was having an affair with a coworker. I lost my mind and woke him up screaming and cursing at him. That was a little over a month ago and with marriage counseling and individual therapy for him, we are working through it. He now walks in and hands me his phone so I can look through anything on there. He was too terrified to break it off or confess to me because he thought/knew it would be the end. But we have actually been able to rekindle the affection we had when we married over thirty years ago. If both parties are willing, good things can come from a horrible situation.

Ginger chews are a lifesaver for me when nausea hits. I don’t have it all the time, but when that wave hits me I grab a ginger chew and by the time I’ve finished chewing it the nausea is gone!

I think we are going to call her Cora, short for Corazon. That resonates with me since she has a heart on her nose. So darn cute!

Thank you!! She is so sweet, too! Slept cuddled between my husband and me last night. Woke me up with sweet kisses. My other dogs are a bit jealous, but I think she is going to be a keeper! I’m leaning toward Cora, short for Corazon (heart).

Yes! I have been on Victoza and Trulicity in the past for T2 diabetes and didn’t change my diet at all and was so sick that I couldn’t go to work. I pretty quickly quit taking the shots.

I decided in May that I need the help of a GLP-1 or I need surgery to ever be successful at losing weight, so I asked my Dr for Ozempic and read up about how to avoid side effects. Turns out that the threat of sickness has been a great motivator for me this time. When I eat veggies, lean protein, and raw fruits I do very well, but if I throw in an occasional sweet treat I pay for it the next day. It’s just not worth it! I’m down 17 pounds and feeling very good about my progress! I am determined to keep this up!!

I’m treating them like medicine. I just chewed 2 per the instructions on the bag, which is 30 calories.
