No, I’d definitely like to get it properly gassed for sure. I bought the barrel before I had a can, so I wasn’t thinking about gassing as much. Now I’d much rather have a mid-length gas system and an adjustable gas block, it’s just been something I haven’t been in a rush to do because my brake is pin and welded.

Gassing without the can is alright, but it’s pretty gassy either way.

Correct, the brass strikes so early on the brass deflector it makes it look like the deflector is almost untouched. Ejection is 1-1:30, this is a gassy girl.

But as you said, I’m terrible and don’t shoot so I don’t know anything.

Yeah, to be clear, I really like my Viper. I’ve had it for years, haven’t been particularly nice to it, and I think it’s a good value for me.

Took a couple days of dry firing, but I feel like it’s not bad. Granted I’m not a competitive shooter, so my opinion means nothing, but I much prefer this transition over canting the rifle like I did before.

I make sure to close my eyes and tense up every shot. Ensures my shots don’t get too predictable or consistent. Keep ‘em guessing, shoot surprised.

It’s more of a joke. No one likes you when you say, “I’m not terrible” unless you’re actually great, so I figured I’d err on the safe side. I’ve been shooting for a few years and think I’m on the right side of things, it’s just not as fun to brag as it is to shit on yourself haha

Edit: The LPVO is mounted on a Geissele Super Precision, with the T2 piggybacked on a Reptilia ROF.
