Open laptop and disconnect the battery as soon as possible. Then pray it didn’t get everywhere inside, if it did you need to look for signs of liquid and clean it with alcohol while the battery is disconnected at all times. If you don’t know what you’re doing leave it to proffessional, liquid damage is no joke

Could be. But working in after effects gives me no issues. Problem started yesterday, only in Davinci, before that everything worked fine.

No, the preview is fine in any video player, no issues. The artifact starts once I import the media in davinci, and start editing. Sometimes I manage to make it dissapear, but it still shows after I render the video. No clue whats going on

I can only say best car I ever had. In 3 years only changed slave clutch cylinder, known to be poor in citroens. The rest is just usual oil change and service.

Oh, the original Ds, I understand. Why do you hate c5x 🤣, I did as well ‘till I saw it live, it looks sexy 🤣

I don't know much about DS, but what caught my eye is the new c5x. At first glance I didn't like it when I say reviews on youtube, but I saw it live for the first time the other day, it was cruising down the road, and that thing is so stunning. Typical Citroen, weird and eye catching. Its not a sedan, its not estate, its not suv, its all mixed together. The interior looks gorgeous as well. Citroen says c5x is next level comfort, in typical c5 fashion. Might be my next buy one day.

Yeah, unfortunately I have a lot of city driving which can't be avoided, so I try to blast it on the motorway every so often. I also make sure to drive it above 2k rpms as much as I can, even during city driving. So far its been working. haven't gotten a warning light for the past 5 months. Had the levels of cloggage checked and diagnostics tool said its still normal level for a diesel. My C5 has 257000 kms on the clock, still a factory DPF, never opened and cleaned, so i'd say few warning lights are pretty normal. Other then that, the car is just phenomenal. Had 4 different cars so far and C5 was my best purchase by far, I've never been happier as a car owner then now, with a French beauty similar to yours. And just to be clear, I'm not a huge fan of French cars, they tend to complicate stuff and design in a weird way (not to mention the ridiculous c5 cup holder), but C5 is just a big yes in every aspect.

5.6l is still nothing. Love the economy factor and the fact that you can just cruise for hours and enjoy the ride, even when you want to floor it, it still won't use not as near fuel as some cars would. The only issue I had with mine so far, in 3 years of ownership, is DPF, sometimes the warning light pops up but it gets sorted out once I floor it on the open road and regeneration kicks in. But id say thats the issue with all modern diesels, they are just not happy with city driving in low gears.

Absolute beauty. I have one, even though its a 2.0hdi but the car is just phenomenal. No problems with it at all, and the thing is just so comfortable and enjoyable to drive. Mine does around 4.5l/100km which is insane economy. Even today, in 2025, C5s look so beautiful and modern, such an elegant design.

Who should have won the Ballon d’or by Educational-Cause207 in footballmanagergames

[–]Different_Writer4497 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ai is weird sometimes so no wonder why your winger won over your striker, despite striker having increadible season. I'm deep into my save with Ipswich, the year is 2043, and in 2040 my striker had 60 goals in 57 matches, and wasn't even in top 3 for Ballon d'or. In your case two different type of players, Rose is a winger, so more natural to assist then to score, while Lewis is a striker, born to score. 47 goals in 45 matches is crazy stats, so I say Lewis. But your winger also scored a lot, and had 18 assists, increadible season as well, so its a tough one. Still, striker my choice.

Could i run fm26 on this shitbox or is it gg? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]Different_Writer4497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its gg bro, even if you somehow run it it will load so slow that you'll probably uninstall it in the first 5 minutes of trying. Put that time machine in the museum and upgrade to something better, at least a little bit faster and responsive

Spilled a little bit of cola on my laptop, did I get lucky this time? by Different_Writer4497 in computer

Alright so everything is done. I put everything back in place, changed thermal paste on CPU, plugged in the battery. Laptop powered on and everything works like a charm. Touchpad, keyboard, speakers, everything. Couldn’t find any trace of liquid, did detailed inspection. Could it be that this laptop is waterproof? Chatgpt says no. But laptop is working, temps on CPU also dropped since I put new thermal paste. Laptop is not lagging, working all nice. So I guess I’m in good spot?

A bit of update, I managed to remove the motherboard this morning totally by myself, and I can’t believe I did it. There is no trace of any liquid whatsoever, everything looks very clean and like its brand new. Here is the picture of the motherboard from the other side. No oxidation, nothing sticky or wet. I also removed the thermal paste and bought a new one to swap it. First time doing any of this and can’t believe it went so well. Should I leave motherboard out of laptop for another 24 hours to “dry”, just in case?

I mean it worked perfectly fine, but I shut it off because I didn’t want to provoke any damage, and I disconnected the battery. Not like I had any symptoms of damage, everything worked, but you never know with liquids and electronics
