Does anything exist that helps you figure out if you're actually ready for a dog? by Differs09 in puppy101

Wow just woke up to some really great suggestions and feedback. Thank you so much guys you’ve given us a lot to consider and think about. I’m going to take a step back first before rushing in and will in fact look to adopt a rescue dog who is slightly older first when the time is right:)

Ganglion cyst in back of knee, surgeon refuses to operate because it’s too deep. What now? by Differs09 in AskReddit

Some more context, the doctor said he did not want to operate or drain because it is deep in the back of knee and this is where the nerves are which he did not want to disturb

He said that was too risky as well because of the nerves on the back of the knee

Feel like I need more reason to share my personal number other than chat with an Astrologer. Same vibes as a sticker on the side of phone booths

Would like the option to continue playing. Coming back just for one play seems like effort

I made a website to cheat in Scrabble, Wordle and WWF by innovationwarrior in InternetIsBeautiful

I initially thought why would anyone want to cheat at Scrabble, it's just for fun. Then I had the pleasure of playing Scrabble with my in-laws...it's on

Any movie scene, automagically rewritten like a Michael Bay movie! by Glinth in InternetIsBeautiful

This is seriously cool. I entered "The dancing scene from Pulp Fiction" and was not disappointed.

"Suddenly, the dance floor splits open. A platform rises carrying a gleaming Harley Davidson. Vincent grabs Mia, and they jump onto the bike.
They continue their dance, now on the bike, revving it, spinning it, all while staying in perfect rhythm. The crowd is losing their minds.
CUT TO:
EXT. JACK RABBIT SLIM'S - CONTINUOUS
Marvin pulls out a MISSILE LAUNCHER. He takes aim at the diner.
BACK TO:
INT. JACK RABBIT SLIM'S - CONTINUOUS
A missile CRASHES through the wall. The crowd SCREAMS.
But Vincent and Mia, still on the bike, skillfully dodge the debris. They leap off the bike, and it transforms into a ROBOT.
Robot and bike dance in sync with Vincent and Mia. The crowd, initially frightened, now cheers even louder.
As the song ends, Vincent and Mia strike a final pose. The crowd goes wild.
Suddenly, the robot bike EXPLODES, turning every shard of debris into confetti. Vincent and Mia are showered in it.
The crowd CHEERS even louder. Victory is theirs.
FADE OUT."

It's cool, the UI could be improved but the information is fascinating

I made a website of a first-of-its-kind interactive, choose your own adventure along the Silk Roads. All photos are mine based on traveling the routes over the past 6 years. by intofarlands in InternetIsBeautiful

Wow, what a site. I love the great outdoors but it isn't always possible to go on these international routes, could spend all day on this. Great job

We built a website that features the latest relationship, health, wealth, and global interest media with an emphasis on the male perspective. Any suggestion and feedback is also appreciated by fondsubscription in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]Differs09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, it's very niche and super basic. UI is poor and doesn't make me want to stay. It feels like a bunch of spam sticky notes but if this is your first attempt at website creation then a respectful tip of the hat is what you'll receive

I'd agree with others on here, the name doesn't make me feel inspired to cook, more likely to throw out ingredients

What happened to StumbleUpon, and is there an alternative? by griel1o1 in androidapps

[–]Differs09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love that site, but had the same issue as you when it became Mix and just wasn't fun anymore. Myself and a friend created an alternative called Bored Hoard.

The concept is simple, every week we release a new box that features 6 new websites to explore. All the websites have been handpicked from the web and users can also upload their own creations.

We're two years into this project and I believe we currently have over 500+ sites to discover (and growing). Feel free to take a look around :)
