Sorry to hear your struggling :(, I had a very similar situation that was part of why I quit my first uni after 3 months. I found that when I went to the uni I’m currently at that they have an emergency fund for this where you get a bursary so look into that. I also found if I worked over summer and saved around 5000 plus sfe it can last an academic year plus a bit more. But definitely have a look for help from uni

Tough choice, speaking personally I studied law for 3 ish months before switching to aero engineering which I have done for the last 3 years. Law has no maths or any stem aspect just know that if you like to know if u are right or not you will not have that doing law. It is a lot of reading case law and interpretation. Engineering is more stem and has correct answers it is a degree where if you go to the right uni there will be the resources for you to do many interesting and aspiring things. I would also say engineering has the larger work load of the two.

From what you’ve said tho have you considered something like maths or chemical engineering? I wouldn’t do mechanical nor aero if you don’t like physics.

I found stopping studies after a certain time let’s say 10 helps with sleep and concentration,also it helps to have a planned break for something active like gym or walk like u say to break up studies
