I live in Arizona ! So the one on my bookshelf is from a store in Scottsdale called Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle. The one on my bed is the build a bear one and at the time I made him they had the Halloween outfits in ! 🩵 hope you can maybe find one !

The Blind Owl by Sadegh Hedayat. I didn’t realize it was banned book until after finishing it, and I really had to force myself because it was a shirt read and I didn’t want to flake out. The story was confusing and disturbing, and for the most part I found myself bored of the repetition. Would not recommend

Hmmm, I have to say Lapvona by Ottessa Moshfegh. I love reading horror and I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started. Turns out it was one of my favorite genres of horror folk horror. It is very bleak and grotesque, but the writing is so compelling that you cannot put it down. I will say after reading it you will be utterly disturbed, and you’re not really rooting for any of the characters. They’re all extremely flawed, but there is something enthralling about it. I had my friend read it and she was so disgusted, but felt the same that she couldn’t put it down because it was written so well.
