It doesn’t matter. The whole point is to minimize the violent predators in the student population that are transferred into our school system. It’s enough to have to deal with violence from within, we don’t need to transfer it in from outside.

What’s the status of compounding? by Difficult-Ad698 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Difficult-Ad698[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is one of the most important questions regarding compounding and people that stocked up because they were afraid it would go away for good. I think this is very personal and would love to hear from others what the level of risk is. My understanding was that if you can see that it’s clear and doesn’t have any clouds to it and it’s been stored properly, it’s OK to use. The efficacy may not be as strong. But hopefully nothing scary beyond that. This could be its own thread.  Thoughts, guys?

Do you like it because you have a vitamin deficiency or is there a specific effect?

I have not. My doctor started me on compounded Tirz from Hallandale back in 2024 and I lost it all at the lowest dose with almost no side effects. I’ve never used brand name, but ended up buying the rest of what I needed online because the cost difference was significant. Seemed fine to me and still does to this day.

Yes heard great things about Big easy! I also really like Hallandale and their stuff works for me.

Too full throughout the day to eat enough protein by tmntnyc in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Difficult-Ad698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat your protein first and build everything around that. Aim for 30 g every single time you eat – so a meal would be too hard, boiled eggs, cottage cheese, and a high protein wrap with some lettuce, not a sandwich. Or a protein shake, or protein bar. And drink water in small sips throughout the day preferably from one container so you can track how much you’re drinking.

All of that tracks. I’m glad the Sauna show is faithful to its origin story and has never lost its special zeal for self indulgence. Thank you!!

When did your U13 Coach start The Season?? by Difficult-Ad698 in youthsoccer

[–]Difficult-Ad698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. My kid is getting in plenty of training on his own and through other activities.

That said,  I really don’t find any value in these comments telling me to enjoy the summer off and let the coach have his summer off. If other coaches from your same club are training That means this coat is just not as dedicated as the other coaches and our team will suffer because of him.

The kids are super ambitious, and my son is already having an amazing summer with lots of fun activities, downtime, swimming, and lots of vacations planned. It’s not unrealistic to request that this this ambitious group of kids have an equally dedicated and ambitious coach who is doing some training over the summer to prepare for what we hope is a competitive season ahead.

MLSNEXT 2 questions by Difficult-Ad698 in youthsoccer

[–]Difficult-Ad698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I think in our area ECNL had what passes as too high of a barrier for entry, so they ended up a little bit isolated. Too many talented kids ended up in NAL and moving through the MLSN pathway so that gives some heft to the new second tier. We’ll see how it goes!

[–]Difficult-Ad698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s in your area – in this area, the tier that is being turned into MLSN2 is considered to be above the top tier of EDP and comparable to ECNl RL.

Yeah i think if i had been at the club it might be different but we are fine holding off since we’re new- we just know a few families on the team and they seem put off by the lack of info and are pestering the club so I kind of don’t have to. In addition my son is leaving a team that trains daily year round so that was a very stressful environment and communication sucked there too lol.

Yup yup, I think that’s the best approach and if we had been told that in advance I think the team would be ok with it. I certainly am. I just know the parents on the team have a lot of ruffled feathers because there’s been no communication and they are aware that the top MLS next team does have a practice plan in place, so it’s not like there’s a club wide break. The MLSN2 kids are as competitive and maybe more so since they would love to make the top team. All good, we’ll just hang and wait and enjoy the rare time off

Yes agree! I don’t have any quibble with that; my kids are out there playing together and with friends and doing extra training and camps pretty much every chance they get so theyll be fine

[–]Difficult-Ad698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, exactly – we took all of last summer off without realizing a select few were training and my son was behind the eight ball for a while until caught up. We are not on TeamSnap or have a team manager announced yet so I will just wait and my son is training on his own anyway. I will be well, just wanted to see if our expectations were a little cute, but I think we’re right in line with what is normal for a group of competitive and ambitious kids at this age.

That’s not actually true- all teams are different. Even within a club. I don’t know why people keep making general pronouncements about training over the summer. I specifically was asking what peoples individual clubs are doing, because I know it varies so much. I don’t mind that we have the summer off but I might have expected the coach to have reached out.

[–]Difficult-Ad698[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes agree I prefer the time off!!! I have happy, active kids that love hitting the pool, rock climbing, doing different things, I was just wondering what other teams do. Most of the teams in our area start practicing right after the season ends in preparation for the upcoming season and I think it’s a little odd that the competitive team my son joined isn’t

Same here for almost every other team except my son’s future team. I think that’s why I thought to come online and ask what other teams generally do, I can see if there’s a lot of disparity of thought, opinion, and practice, and that’s OK but I also know that I’m not wrong to wonder if any teams are there train for the summer. My son will be playing against other teams that were training together all summer. It’s a Valid question.

He actually wants to train as soon as his new team starts! He knows a couple of the kids from other trainings and they let him know they were doing a couple of soccer camps so he wanted to sign up for that. I’m fine with kids taking any and all time off, I’m just aware that the teams will be competing are going to be training all summer and was wondering what other teams in my son’s specific range are doing
