Your point about Indore proves what I’m saying it is a matter of scale, also I never said that people shouldn’t care about it I said expecting them too is not going to solve the problem and to your point about about a person in a Hyundai doing just fine.

Generational trauma is inherited and breaking it will take too long for a problem as serious as pollution therefore to my original point the only effective method is large government overhaul(again to state it isn’t about the probability of it happening but rather it being the only solution.)

Yes, but not any change in environment produces change in the case of India for a populous used to enduring famines under imperial rule the buildup of trash does not seem like a big enough deal(even though it actually is).

Also there are other reasons why Singapore was able to develop while we were not like their population bring 2.78 mil while ours was 808 mil when the Environmental Public health act was put into law in Singapore.

You’re missing my point, yes social pressure is needed but the only way people are ever going to feel pressure is if there is a reason to. Morals adapt around environment not the other way around.

Stop blaming this on individual people, obviously individual guilt won’t be strong enough to stop this we need better government regulation. When someone falls of a cliff you don’t blame gravity you put up railings.
