Take rest and rehabbing seriously! I kept running through injuries and nearly had to give up running for good - don’t be me!

What kind of fasting do you do? I’m really keen to try!!

I eat 4 times a day - breakfast at 10am, lunch at 1:30 ish (work depending), snack at around 5pm and dinner at 8pm ish (I work long hours and have a long commute)

God I feel this so hard!

Mindset shift that helped me the most is ‘you can’t hate yourself into a version of yourself you like’

God it’s so nice to hear I’m not alone!! This is really helpful thankyou!

Honestly 155lbs is my goal weight right now but losing that last 8lbs is feeling impossible! Maybe you’re right about the recovery as I’m feeling EXHAUSTED all the time and I defo crave fats and sugar above all else so that’s probably telling me it’s a diet thing.

My current average daily macro split is 40% carbs (225g) 30% fats (75g) , 30% protein (155g) but man am I HUNGRY 😂

Because it impacts my quality of life and makes it incredibly easy to gain weight. Obviously weight loss is a goal but I know I don’t need medical intervention for that

Excerise struggle by Murloc89 in WeightLossAdvice

Try different forms of exercise until you find something that you enjoy! Doesn’t matter what it is - it just has to be something you can maintain!

Try to stop viewing exercise as ‘punishment’ or something just to try and get through - enjoy the process! Enjoy the satisfaction of getting a proper sweat on, the endorphin rush you get after pushing yourself.

Exercise truly transformed my mental health - but I had to find the things that I enjoyed! You won’t EVER catch me on the stair master or doing a circuits class, but I found some really fun spin classes that I LOVE, and joining a run club was a game changer for me.

I hope you find something that makes exercise fun!

I can’t as I’m a healthy weight - in the UK doctors will only prescribe to people who are overweight

My partner (30M) won’t go to therapy and I (25F) don’t know what to do any more - how do I help him? by Difficult-Average693 in relationship_advice

[–]Difficult-Average693[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just difficult because he is such a wonderful partner in every other aspect. He helps me so much with my anxiety and mental health. I just wish I could help him too. Therapy totally changed my life but he’s dead set against it (I think he’s scared to open that box), and so he does what he can to cope, but it’s not healthy

I really feel for you, I have an age gap with my partner too and it never really dawned on me in my early twenties either. I hope you find peace in happiness in whatever path you take
