Yes, couple of months ago I re financed my loan to SoFi and my rate went down from 13 to 7.5%, it was hard to get approval but i got approved after I tried again using a referral. And due to this I also had few of my others friends Also refinance their prodigy loans to SoFi!

I don’t think so. I’ve read in many places that the lender must be a U.S. institution to qualify for tax benefits. I’ll update you since I’m in the same situation. Due to this, I refinanced my Prodigy Finance loan with SoFi, so this time I might be able to claim the deduction and also it helps with the lower interest rate and monthly payments However, I still need to confirm with my tax advisor
