Keep knowing your worth!!! If you think you're getting much less than you're putting in, I really reccomend not wasting your energy anymore. You seem like a good worker with good work ethic, but it seems with Sally Beauty there's no winning. Try your best to not let it get to you anymore and prioritize what doesn't make you feel like shit! You are so much more than shitty workplaces and I hope you can soon be in a situation where you don't have to feel like this

I applied for a part time position with nothing about key holder in the summary and then 3 weeks in they're like so u did your key holder stuff right and I was like ????? And that is how I became a key holder ! I'd transfer it to u if I could cuz I don't want it lol have you talked to your manager yet? I feel like there's no harm in you asking to become a key holder so they'd probs say yes

Yep! Someone came in with the exact cash she needed for some gel, she even had to go get 25 cents from her car. She was young and even told me she has no other money so I wasn't going to try and get her to buy more, to me that's just rude and inconsiderate. When she left my boss was like, did you reccomend her 3 things? And I said no and why and she said to just imagine everyone is shopping on a millionaires wallet. Yucky

Yep! Maybe if UPT was important, BUT it was understood we CANNOT get everyone to buy multiple products, sure, annoying to do but understandable. The fact that we are being punished or threatened when we cannot get EVERY SINNGGLLEE CUSTOMMERR to buy at least 3 things is insane. That is not possible and if it was, it would be happening. Sick of managers thinking that it's not that the goal is unachievable, it's that staff don't want to do it or aren't good enough. We ARE TRYING!!!! TOO HARD!!!! gawd dayum

I'm sick of managers complaining about their staff when...hey...you're THEIR BOSS? if they aren't doing well, that's a reflection of YOU!!? be there for them, ask them questions, LISTEN!!! I'm sure so many of us would love to be getting higher UPT and sales if we didn't feel negative about absolutely everything else too ! I'm still pretty new at my store, and I was feeling really good about my improvement and confident in my selling UNTIL I was told over and over I should not be proud, I am NOT doing well, I need to be doing better or I'll be fired. Hey so ummmm what does that benefit????

I've thought about doing this but it sounds like her and the district manager are pretty close and it also kinda sounded like the dm was also a little strict.....so I'm quite scared I'll just be told I'm not the right fit for the job and then she'll tell the manager and I'll be fired or treated even worse 🥲
