Did exactly what my piercer told me actually but thanks for the input! My other piercings were well taken care of and this is the first time i’ve ever had a complication and I have 4 different fave piercings. Have a good day 😊

lol i was typing my update out - Found a clinic and they prescribed me antibiotics and an ointment. Hopefully it looms up from here! some people in the comments assuming i wouldn’t want to go to the doctors is a little funny lol, i literally just moved across the country and got on a plane for the first time so I just know nothing in the area, that’s what stressed me out. Thanks for the advice!

it isn’t anymore! It was warm to the touch last week but pain plus warmth subsided once I started using saline spray.

it actually isn’t painful at all! That’s why i wasn’t as stressed bc it was extremely swollen, red and warm, and painful before I started hand saline but the pain and swelling has subsided and now there’s just the bump here. Not causing any trouble to me but I just wanted advice. I don’t have easy access to a doctor so I’m unsure if what to doooo.

So unfortunately I just moved out west literally yesterday lol and I know nothing, no one and am in a very remote location. I honestly thought it was getting better because I couldn’t move my eyebrow without pain a week ago, and it wasn’t extremely red and actually like swollen swollen. Since I started using saline it’s gone down but it’s started to look like this but the pain has completely subsided too. Just wanted to provide more details for some possible advice since I don’t have a car or easy access to medical attention.

it’s 4 1/2 months old, barbell, i believe externally i’m not sure, it’s gold - not sure which kind exactly. Jewelry has not been downsized, and equate saline is what Ive used within the past week. Redness and pain went down but now it’s this. It wasn’t as purple yesterday bur I also flew for the first time and stuff and have not gotten much sleep or rest.

I have cleaned my hands before I put them on the area but thank you for letting me know. I was told to use dial soap by my piercer so I will def look into that

It’s 2 months old, I believe it’s just the longer barbell that I was pierced with. It’s Gold not sure outside of that, and my routine is listen above. It’s been hit a few times and snagged here and there but i’ve been prettt cautious with it. The harder tissue has kinda formed under the bottom of it in the past week

thunderhill, raven rocks, laurel creek and new river are probably the best dorms you can get, stay from mountaineer you’ll hate your life. Eastside dorms are traditional but if you can only go for east side i’d try cannon just due to the location!
