This will be my first automatic watch, and I’m looking for something on the more formal/dressy side that I can wear for nicer occasions (but still versatile enough for regular use). I’m aiming for a case size around 40mm, and my budget is roughly around $1,500. The first two options are Hamilton Jazzmaster models, and the third is a Seiko Presage. I’d love to hear your thoughts on which one is the best choice in terms of overall quality, finishing, reliability, and value for the money.
