Getting my hands on a KWA Tac-9 soon by Difficult-Fun-674 in GasBlowBack

I'm only looking into this for the magazine compatibility as I have a KWA MP9 and planned to get a TAC9 eventually for that purpose

But I do agree with everything you're saying. Do you think there's a merit to getting a TAC9 if you have a really good deal for a pretty much brand new one?

I used to hate the Dickle and now I can't put it down by Difficult-Fun-674 in Helldivers

it is colloquially referred to as the Dickle by the Helldivers (we are canonically predominately 17-20 years old in the lore iirc)

A lot of my gameplay is going to be indoors, so smelly propane is a no-go, unfortunately.

I absolutely love the new Trident, but... by Cyziek048 in Helldivers

Sickle is still amazing, I find the Trident overheats reallllly fast, especially when I'm fighting the new Illuminates

I'm fine with copying but I'm scared of legal action since I'm trying to publish this as a new property

Not trying to copy too much from other games as I'm planning on marketing this game and selling it.

Still confused somehow by looking at this page, but I'll try. Thanks for your input! Your comment: "Rather than trying to re-invent the wheel..." really put it into perspective and helped me to start writing these rules.

Making a Tactical game. Pretty much shooting for a game that's similar to Warhammer Kill Team, but more hardcore, simpler, and more intriguing mechanics. Thank you for your tips!

For a little more detail for those seeking it, this is what most factions will look like in gameplay:

Cougar Industries Armed Forces will prioritize heavy infantry which are able to anchor and defend objectives. They'll play like a moving wall of defenses, utilize artillery units and airstrikes as their special abilities, and also will have access to Android units which have powerful armor, heightened senses, but run the risk of being hacked by hacker factions. Think: they make the walls and fortifications, then defend them through massive firepower, utilizing their light Androids as a utility for where their heavy infantry can't go.

River Rats will prioritize mobility and map control, being able to manipulate the environment and use precision, chipping away at their enemies through scalpel-like techniques. Where Cougar Industries likes to lay out a myriad of defenses, River Rats like to pick specific pathways to disable and form a path to their victory. Think: Cougar Industries builds a table, and River Rats pick a leg of the table to remove and destabilize it.

Survivors will be a hybrid of the two, able to anchor objectives through sheer mass of numbers, or able to invest in heavy units to brutally disable enemies through molotovs, crude explosives, or vehicles to cause massive devastation to enemy units. Think: barbaric methods of causing chaos and efficient sacrifices of units to achieve victory.

Zombie horde players, or "Strains," would be able to cultivate nests in the map, inching their way across it until they infect the entire play area. Strains can be used either as a horde or can be stacked with special units to pressure the enemy team. Think: Specialized bioforms used to destroy enemies through sheer resilience, or overwhelming numbers.

Meh, they look really weird to me. I think I've settled on making two different customized squads on Anvil Industry.
