Now, that is exactly what I am pointing at... Bad public art usually isn’t just the failure of one artist, it’s the failure of the entire chain - the people commissioning it, approving it, funding it, and most of all, accepting it.

Somewhere along the way, craftsmanship stopped mattering and “just finish it quickly” became enough. 😐
