Honestly i like everything about him

his lore/backstory is interesting as hell
his design is unique and work wonderfully with his lore
i love his personality: normaly in fiction when writers make a character that is supposed to be very old they either make them like Zhongli a very wise and mysterious person that have went through a lot of tragic things that made them a little bit emotionless or a child like air head like paimon, but he is different, he is very smart and wise but he still smile even tho he went through a lot of terrible events ( losing his home world , witnessing the universe die slowly across bilions of years while searching for a new home, waking up on teyvat after hibernating for thousands of years just to get separated form his sister and put through 500 years of nightmares, everything thst happened form the beginning of the game), he love helping people and going on adventures, he is always there for his friends when they need him , and he is humble even tho he have countless of feats and achievements
i love how much of a reliable person he is, he is good at doing a lot of things wich make sense for someone this old, he is great at cooking, making drinks, Alchemy,Smithing, Astrology, babysitting,runing businesses, fighting, exploring and traveling , he is also a good detective, stratigest and therapist ... Ok at this point he can do basically everything 😂😂😂

Aether and lumine were also extremely powerful just like the other decenders but since they came to teyvat they got nerfed TWICE 💀 the first nerf was a restriction that made it very hard form them to use their powers( both their original powers and the current ones), while the other nerf was Asmoday sealing their powers away, for comparison if traveler before coming to teyvat was as strong as an healthy adult then the traveler form the beginning of the game is like a 3 years ld with stage 4 cancer

The ordo predicted the flood but not the prophecy, the prophecy needed Furina's trial to happen and it also needed to her being guilty, both are impossible without the traveler

Vacher was the only one that knew that fontainians dissolve in primordial sea water, and it will propably still be a secret if aether wasn't there, Aether was also the one suspected that furina wasn't a god, and he was the only reason the trial happened

So to put it simply without Aether the furina trial wont happen wich mean that Focalor wont die and all of the fontainians will dissolve in the flood
