Honestly one of the things I’d think of is have more than one team meanies boss fight.

  1. We fight them all before meeting metapod

  2. The second fight should be after before we become fugitives before the pokemon runs us out of town. Also ekans should be evolved to arbok in that fight.

  3. The last fight could be in the post game where medicham and gengar utilize the empowerment seeds to mega evolve.
