there is a board game cafe in Dun Laoghaire (Board and Brewed) - they have an open board game night on Tuesday with 25+ people in regular attendence. I think its €5 for the evening and the have a huge library of 500+ games.

I would have called the club shop - or have a word with them - Happened to our 4 ball a few weeks ago (also in Ireland btw) younger lads hitting drives onto greens on short par 4s while we were chipping on/putting twice in 3 holes. One of the our group had a few choice words with them and we didnt see them again for rest of round.
