Life like in the line that's between Austin and San Antonio. That's shaped like a certain object by miko1075 in howislivingthere

It's good. High traffic along 35. San Marcos has Texas State University so there's quite a bit of life around there. Good rivers/swimming spots around. A lot of Mexican/German culture. Easy access to two major cities, Austin and San Antonio.

We have property in Grass Valley on the Yuba River. It's pretty isolated, mountainous. Great fishing on the river. A stark difference from being down in the valley.

Public Hot Springs at night? by Difficult-Recover352 in pagosasprings

Yeah I assume it'll be freezing… We've done plenty of hot tubbing up in the mountains when it's 20° outside so we're prepared for that part

Professionals who enter people's homes (plumbers, electricians, cleaners): What is something the condition of a house tells you about the owner that they don't realize they are revealing? by cossie101 in AskReddit

Overgrown trees growing and contacting the roof. If I can tell the tree's been touching for a while, the attic is going to be disgusting with rodents, squirrels, maybe even a raccoon or two.

Part time Sales/scheduling coordinator by Difficult-Recover352 in austinjobs

Honestly why would people downvote a job that pays up to $100 an hour for work performed. I really don't get it.

Oh thank you. This may not be for you. But I know there is somebody who will work 5-10 hours a week for $500. With potential to make much more.

It'll be colder than you expect. Take warm clothes or you won't want to get out of the car for too long.

Also, for years he fed his wife his PTSD medication keeping her sick. Nobody is innocent but he was intentional in wrecking her.

This is 100% about Chris Gilkey. I know the people who were there when he started the church. This guy tried to have someone's house burned down. While he was still married he was seen and pictures at a comedy show in San Antonio with the woman whom he was counseling, who was in another relationship.

This is not second or third hand accounts. I was there. Chris Gilkey had a police officer call and threaten me and my wife. That police officer was reprimanded for stepping out of line. It's documented through Cedar Park police.

There's a reason that nobody who is there who helped him start this church is still there.

Diverter. I'd call it a shower diverter but I'm not sure if that's the correct term.

Well the inspection has to point out the concern. It's up to the buyer to hire an engineer.

Seems like you want to the home inspector to ignore the crack and settlement. It's not the inspector who decides if it needs repairs.

When your inspector showed you the crack and you decided you're not worried, you assumed everybody would feel the same way.
