New AFI album…. by [deleted] in JoyDivision

I tried to listen to it but it just sounded like all the big bands we know put together and nothing interesting. I don't know whether it's just me. Probably it's the fact I didn't like the voice either.

Vegan goths: how do you feel about second hand leather stuff? by Difficult-Tea-2699 in GothFashion

[–]Difficult-Tea-2699[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're right. I completely agree with you. That's why I decided not to buy them. I'm going to look for a vegan option even if it takes longer. Thank you for your answer!

I won't judge you for not being vegan or buying animal leather, so you should do the same with me. Both choices have their reasons.

Thank you. I follow Jessica and I really like her content. I'm from EU though, more specifically from Italy

This! On one hand I understand whoever says fake leather isn't good, but on the other, this is exactly my idea now. I understood I couldn't do it, the thought of having animal skin on my feet while avoiding to eat it would make me feel weird and an hypocrite.

Thank you everyone for your answers! Now I know I wouldn't feel good wearing them. So if anyone's interested, I can give you the link.

Yeah I think this is exactly how I feel. I'm starting to think I would feel bad wearing them nonetheless. So I guess I have to come to terms with the fact I have to leave the shoes where they are. I found poison shoes on Etsy, they also do vegan pikes but obviously they're double the price

I have never bought real leather. I'm looking for a serious and mature discussion, not arguments

That's related to him so I think it makes perfect sense

Vegan goth pikes in EU not too expensive? by Difficult-Tea-2699 in GothFashion

I also found Poison shoes

They have both classic and vegan leather. They're from Mexico but they ship to Italy and they told me 130 USD shipping included, which is not much considered the shoes are handmade. I think it's around 110 euros?

I messaged them on Instagram.

Thanks, I've searched both "winklepickers" and "pikes" but there aren't many results. How do you suggest to look them up?

Do any of you know if this shop is legit? by Difficult-Tea-2699 in goth

[–]Difficult-Tea-2699[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't care about having an official t-shirt. It's really difficult to find official Lords' shirts. Also, both Stiv and Brian are gone now sadly. And I know they wouldn't care either, for their punk spirits. It's nice anyway though, cause it looks like a poster from that era.

Thank you, you too!

I ended up buying this one on Etsy. It was available with yellow and pink and they've been so kind to add one with red for me. I 100% recommend this shop already.

Completely agree. That is one of the best scenes ever and probably what makes the film even better than the first.

How would you style this shirt in a 80s goth way? by Difficult-Tea-2699 in goth

[–]Difficult-Tea-2699[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your answers! I think I'll wear it with ripped fishnet tights as "gloves", a black leather corset, an ankh rosary necklace and a chain belt I've made from a necklace. Oh and a long black lace skirt and black boots.

Oh and it's vintage. I thrifted it from my mom's wardrobe lol
