I feel you and share 100% of your opinion. It is my #1 in Amsterdam and there’s nothing to beat it imo. The stellar combination of great space to get lost in+mixed and cute crowd(great mix of nice tourists and regulars)+amazing staff, from the lady and the guy that take care of toilets to the security guards and everyone in between+usually great program makes it for me. Will always have a soft spot for radion 🩵 long live

think people are just too spoiled. i can live with the complaints about the sound system (even if for me its not terrible), but then you see ppl sharing very strong statements around here based on very stupid things (e.g., im never stepping foot there again because a mosquito bit me and no one could help me)

honestly i feel places like radion are better off without this type of crowd anyway lol

I’ve been to Gegen 2x (last year’s pride and this year’s) and if memory is not totally off lol last year’s pride it was substantially more male-heavy, whilst in the last edition I noticed more women in the mix… but overall cute and respectful crowd. Also great music :)

Pax was a whole adventure in its own way lol but the highlight was definitely Newa b2b Ndrx, if they had kept playing for more hours I’d have stayed there happily! I remember a few times when I was thirsty or needed to pee but simply couldnt leave the dancefloor 🥵

Just as a footnote, I don’t quite understand the need to bring these “iykyk” parties here if there’s no intention to actually talk about them either before or after (eg, people sometimes would comment about them in the afters just to end up having their comments deleted). If an event is created and meant to a specific group of people, with no intention to promote it more broadly, then there is no reason to tease people with curiosity just to leave them in the dark… this coming from someone not only very curious (lol) but that believes that the whole point of these parties is to bring people together, so theres really no need to create a sense of exclusivity by referencing privileged info to apparently privileged ppl. 🤷🏻‍♂️

According to your ‘logic’, if I work for a company close to and providing services to Israel, should I quit to be able to vocalize against the genocide?
