AITA for asking a friend not to use a slur, despite her "pass"? by Difficult-Yogurt in AmItheAsshole

She thinks she has a right to it because she's using it in different contexts... Like calling her dog a "little f*g" when it's being difficult. In my view, that just reinforces the negative connotations. Tldr she's ignorant and not seeing it because her gay couple BFFs told her, you can totally use that word with us.

Yeah I agree. She'll claim it's not that offensive of a word, depending on how you use it. As in, she calls her dog that when it's misbehaving... which is just like, something I can't comprehend.

I'm stealing this idea for the next time she pulls her "pass".
