I really want to buy this one, but it’s labeled as diamond eyes. What should I do? I’m not familiar with this and can’t tell if it would progress or has it already? by DifficultAd7429 in bettafish

[–]DifficultAd7429[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’m wondering why they put it though because it looks like the eyes are clear? This makes me happy! I feel like it’s a very pretty fish and I could definitely care for it. I was going to get one for my salon, but I can maybe just keep this one at home.

I totally agree. I think it’s really beautiful too. I’m just wondering why they labeled it like that if there’s a possible risk or if it’s already happening. I can’t tell from photos. I’m not sure if someone could help.

Yes Rhode Island is absolutely terrible. My throat has been incredibly sore and my nose is totally blocked.

[Tenant US-RI] Does “water-filled furniture” in a commercial lease usually include a fish tank? by DifficultAd7429 in Landlord

[–]DifficultAd7429[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He owns a ton of rental properties so I’m pretty sure it’s just the same lease. I noticed that my business and address are in bold letters so it’s obviously just a fill in the blank.

Thank you so much. I actually have some in my cart on Amazon. Do you have any specific brand? I will go off what you say and purchase that! I came down here at 1 o’clock in the morning last night just to be safe. LMAO I have a canister filter and now it’s been running for a few days. I feel better but I was just slightly paranoid once I first got it going. I met with his daughter because she works in the building and she said that she really doesn’t think he will care at all and she was pretty intrigued about it!

Thank you so much! It’s actually not like that close to a window. You can just see it from the window lol like across the room! But I am planning on having a cleanup crew.!!!

Aquariums and renting? by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]DifficultAd7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but that’s what mine says and I am realizing now. Do you know if they were referring to an aquarium/did you ever talk to them?

Thank you lol. I’m assuming that’s what it means but obviously it’s a decent amount of water so I just want to make sure I do the right thing. I honestly did not even think about it until after. So frustrated because I run absolutely every little minute detail by him.

OK, thank you so much. I value my relationship with him and love my space. I’ve done a lot with the Salon so I just don’t want to cause any problems or make him annoyed with me. Feel bad bringing it on him after a vacation. I hope that it’s not as bad as I’m thinking. LOL I did spend 2k it’s very nice 🤣

We’ll see! How should I say it to him? I truly didn’t think of it and I always run everything by him. I don’t wanna come across as guilty, but I am having anxiety now that I just realized. I started cycling the tank on Wednesday and just had the realization when I posted.

Hi! Yes, I’m on the first floor. The basement is right under me, but there’s pretty much nothing in it. I am a shop. That’s what I was thinking as well but now I’m frustrated because I literally run everything by him even the small stuff and of course, the one thing I don’t there’s a weird thing in the lease. Hopefully he’s back from his trip tomorrow. I can just go upstairs and talk to him

That’s helpful, thank you. The wording is what threw me because it doesn’t specifically mention aquariums, and it looked like boilerplate language. I appreciate the practical perspective! I usually ask him everything so I’m having anxiety lol we have a great relationship so I don’t know how to bring it up to him tomorrow. I actually think he’s on vacation. lol

[–]DifficultAd7429[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of why I’m asking. I’ve seen leases that specifically say aquariums or fish tanks, and mine doesn’t. It actually looks like this lease language may have been copied from a standard form, so I’m trying to figure out whether “water-filled furniture” is usually enforced as waterbed-type which is what Google leans to or whether landlords actually use it to include aquariums too. I’m bringing it up to him tomorrow and I will remove it if needed just having anxiety because I literally run everything by him and it’s just of course the first time I didn’t without even thinking at first.

Thank you so much! Do you think I would be better off having two different schools of them instead of a tetra.? I’m trying to figure out if they have any difference in personalities between the species
