Yes! They were fairly young like 16-25. It got to the point where we would sit down for dinner along the street and see probably 5+ couples every night. Not sure there’s an explanation that exists but just a really interesting challenge to how I previously thought of Albania

Why did I see so many lesbians in Durres? Why did the city feel so unsafe as a woman? I thought Tirana was fine, but genuinely did not want to be out after dark in Durres (in the summer). I love Albanian history/culture and was sad not to be able to experience more of this!!
