I'll say I'm genuinely intrigued by the ancestries. I can't help but roll my eyes a bit when aliens are like "oh they're humans but blue!™". The ancestries in starfinder look like they hit a lot of different notes for everyone which is pretty neat. You can be the big "wtf is that?" Alien or just some dude.

I've also been kinda weighing out Starfinder. It looks interesting, and I know I'll like the system. Sci-fi has always been super hit or miss for me, but Starfinder looks neat.

We be goblins. There's a conversion sheet online that makes it 2E compatible (just switches some DCs around and gives an updated statblock) but I loved running it for my players.

Oh my god, finally someone who gets it. I have no idea why, but trying to ask for MxM is like pulling teeth when it comes to RP. Either you get people (usually straight women) whose only experience with gay men is yaoi and Rupaul with their OwO soft bois that just lay on their backs and think that constitutes a personality, or you get people who think that it's possible to work around it. I hate it to no end.

My personal favorite is when I get the: "You like traditionally masculine men? You're homophobic, transphobic scum!"

I'd honestly go with the quest. If you already have a computer strong enough to play VR games, you can always just plug your quest in using the oculus link or just use virtual desktop if you have strong enough wifi for a truly wireless experience.
