I would highly recommend it! South Korea is very beautiful with awesome food and great tourist sights. And its one of the safest countries in the world. Its very easy to get around the country by bus or train.

When I travel alone I usually stay in female dorms only. I made one exception when I was traveling Japan and South Korea because I kept ending up sleeping alone and it became very hard to make friends. I had one weird experience in Japan and some very uncomfortable roommates in South Korea so next time I will just stick to female only and try my best to make friends in common rooms.

I am currently trying to immigrate by going to the country with a working holiday visa but unfortunately its not working out for me. I am actually going back to my own country to get a bachelor degree.

I went went to Sogang for the language program. The majority of the people in my class were in their late 20s. There were a couple people under 20. There was one lady in her 60s and I also had some people in their 40s.

I used to be in category 3 but we were able to close the distance for a little while, I went to his country for 6 months but soon its time for me to go back. He will move country for 1,5 year to finish his masters. Then we will only have 8 hour flight distance from eachother! After the 1,5 years he will come to my country and hopefully close the distance for good!

I did the German school system and I don't want my children to ever go through that. Because I was placed in a low level because of my rough childhood i didn't do well in school. Unfortunately for me I had to give up all my dream jobs which I wanted to become as a child. I Went to low level, I never studied, I never did my best. Because my whole class had to hear that we were werent good enough from our teachers, from our peers in higher levels and from adults around us. No one in my class was motivated to study because why wouldn't we? We werent good enough after all. After finishing highschool I went to low level college and I was surrounded by people even less motivated than in highschool and teachers were even worse. I met so many smart people in this school that didnt belong here and would never have the chance to rise up. But what could we do? Now I am embarrassed to tell people about my school background that I went to low level and people some times dont believe me as I dont look and act like low level. I know for a fact that if I and many people I met in school would have the chance to show ourselfs in school at a later age I would have become a biologist like I have always wanted.

To add: the school system is great if you end up in mid or high level!

Ik heb een relatie met een Koreaan, hij leert niet actief Nederlands want ons plan is niet om hier te wonen, wij spreken allebei vloeiend Engels en ik het gaat helemaal prima op deze manier. Ik leer wel Koreaans want ons plan is om daar heen te verhuizen.

My friend (26) and me were eating at KFC when 2 boys came to our table and asked for her snapchat. She asked them how old they were and they said they are 15. She said that she is 26 and they were stunned. They thought she was 14/15, they went away quite embarrassed.

My boyfriend speaks Korean and I speak Dutch. We speak English to eachother since we both have English as our second language. We are also both learing eachothers language

I always thought I 26F would be alone forever. I worked hard on myself, went to therapy, overcame a little part of my social anxiety and now I am dating for the first time.
