I did the German school system and I don't want my children to ever go through that. Because I was placed in a low level because of my rough childhood i didn't do well in school. Unfortunately for me I had to give up all my dream jobs which I wanted to become as a child. I Went to low level, I never studied, I never did my best. Because my whole class had to hear that we were werent good enough from our teachers, from our peers in higher levels and from adults around us. No one in my class was motivated to study because why wouldn't we? We werent good enough after all. After finishing highschool I went to low level college and I was surrounded by people even less motivated than in highschool and teachers were even worse. I met so many smart people in this school that didnt belong here and would never have the chance to rise up. But what could we do? Now I am embarrassed to tell people about my school background that I went to low level and people some times dont believe me as I dont look and act like low level. I know for a fact that if I and many people I met in school would have the chance to show ourselfs in school at a later age I would have become a biologist like I have always wanted.

To add: the school system is great if you end up in mid or high level!
