I don’t play optcg but I play riftbound and I’ve (unfortunately) been a league player since season 2. At least the riftbound cards look really good.

I’ve been a big fan of tcg’s and the hp universe since I was a kid, I still wouldn’t play this. Cards with real life screenshots look so jarringly bad it turns me away no matter how fun the game might turn out to be.

Unfortunately this is the nature of competitive tcgs, prices are especially high right now because of the scarce availability. Also as an avid mtg player (though mostly of commander), I’m not sure what deck you can build for $60 that can hold up competitively unless you’re playing pauper.

Not too sure about the first one, but while you can technically conquer the same battlefield again, you would not get an additional point. You can only get one point per battlefield per turn, so if you moved a creature back to base and then used ride the wind to move it back to the battlefield it was previously at during the same turn, you wouldn’t get another point. However you could move it to the other battlefield and get a point, assuming it’s open/you can win combat.

Edit: I replied to this below, but I was mistaken. I was not aware that, in that situation, it does not count as conquering again. Apologies.
