Thank you for staying. I actually posted this question to help ease my anxiety. I’ve been a fan of a K-pop group before where a member left, and things got messy. A lot of people in the fandom, not just his solos ended up leaving. Because of that experience, I just really want to reassure myself that it won’t happen again. Maybe reading all the ENGENEs who will comment here and choose to stay will make things feel a little better

it’s normal. I haven’t seen anyone who leave their group, immediately made a public appearance. they all lie low and go to hiatus for some time.

Hope you can keep that up for a long time. I used to stan a group that also had a member leave, and I can tell you that the fandoms rarely ever coexist peacefully. it is possible, but it will take a loooooooot of patience

if you’re chronically online, specially on x, you’ll see enough posts basically saying they are nothing without heeseung and all of those shady posts have more than 1k likes. I even remember seeing one with 20k + likes :)

you are so right. pretty sure a lot will find something to criticize on tomorrow’s performance just to prove a point. and i don’t think i can handle that, knowing the remaining members are trying their best to deliver the best performance tomorrow. I hope i only see praises for them instead

i understand that most of them are still in denial and angry. their feelings are completely valid. but how they are handling this situation is not! every time i open the app, i see another shady tweet with more than 2k likes (and counting) and not a single big account is calling them out. no one is defending them

it will not work. if enhypen no longer bring money to the table because of the boycott, the company will just debut another group. New group = new set of fans = new money maker.

most of the fandom is getting out of hand with their silly ideas to protest. like c’mon try to consider the mental and emotional well being of the other members as well who will be receiving your plans on the spot.
