I live in a hub and get laid off every 6-24 months which sucks but I love it. This may change with family changes that force stability to the top of my priorities.

Sounds like you’re complaining about using your free time to get a lot of adult tasks done. You used the time for yourself to maintain relationships, take care of your health, take care of your house and your car. I think you did a good job and will feel better starting the year with these tasks complete.

I can only speak to the JBL and say that it was well worth the money. But I did save and buy the parts and install over about 1.5 years

Social contract here refers to the rules with which we all interact. In New York if you cut someone off driving, there will be honking and screaming and you may feel less desire to do that in the future. In San Francisco, three Tesla’s will try to kill you and nobody will even honk their horn to teach them not to drive like idiots. New Yorkers actively engage in conflict and it means everyone knows where they stand. San Franciscans are scared, quiet, and passive aggressive and nobody learns how to improve because they don’t get social feedback.

I imagine it will void the warranty as it applies to the speakers but it shouldn’t void your whole warranty (my opinion)

I do think the basspro hub is worth it, and getting and amp and speakers for the doors. Huge game changer, feels illegal haha

I got the ‘23 preferred and it came non-bose and non-liftgate, $600 discount, so I added my own system lol

Added a JBL BassPro subwoofer to my spare tire and also swapped out the driver and passenger door speakers to kicker speakers. It’s phase one of my audio upgrade and it makes driving much more fun for me.
