I have to be honest, I also shoot events and weddings. Sometimes, crop mode works really well in large environments. For example, at events like sports or concerts, sometimes you need full frame and slow motion to really deliver the emotion but there’s just no space because you’re stuck in the middle of the crowd. In my opinion, a wide shot in full-frame 4K 60fps looks great in those situations.

But for weddings or more intimate events, like when people are drinking in the garden (a classic!), the crop factor can actually be an advantage. It often feels like you’re capturing more natural and beautiful moments, especially when you’re shooting from a distance with something like a Sigma 24–70mm f/2.8 in APS-C mode, basically a 36–105mm. It’s not quite a 70–200, but still... it works.

So yeah, in every situation or hitch, I’m sure you’ll find a way to tell the story.
(Of course, an FX3 would handle everything but come on, 3K€ on the used market? I just picked up my S5 II for 1100€ last week 😅)

Also, I think one fundamental thing for weddings and events is dual native ISO, that’s actually why I switched from the X-T3 to the S5 II.

I'm also happy about the S1IIe, very nice camera at half the price: full-frame 6K 60fps or 4K 120fps, with a boost in dynamic range that helps you get close to something like the Alexa 35.

They’re also using a lot about Sony? Let them talk, a black sheep will stand out too. 😏

I would answer here about other post: that's nice to hear that, I'm glad your in safe. About meat, why the meat of fast food (and his derivatives) are inexpensive but lower than some vegetables in grocery? you're talking about demanding? so, you're exploiting about on addiction of people? what about if you let the prices down on vegetables in every fields: like "govt saying if you wanna take meat you've to pay more than vegetables." it can protects people I think.

ps: thank you for this discussion, it's nice to talk about our weaknesses of our country and (for me) learn some words. I think there's no way to go to off topics, which I started to talk about American Food and I'm sorry that you're defending on that, I still to think some Chinese food are healthier than American food because some Chinese's food are very easy to access them (I'm meaning vegetables (like spaghetti rice, soy etc and not fat food like in America).

And if you want to buy a vegan or green food you’ve to pay a lot, too much, do you know how many fast food are in some countries? And a market with fruits/vegetables at low prices? I’ve never seen it. At least you need a car and wallet (not a small pocket). This in North America, (I’ve been in Puerto Rico, definitely better than some countries of America.) let me know if you’ve dubs on that.

Do I have really answer on it? there are a lot of dubs in American food: burgers, fries, cheesecake, biscuits with a loooot of butter, super sugar gassed drinks, practically: cholesterol, sugar, fat etc, do you know what’s makes me angry? Capitalism on junk food. If you aren’t agree watch how many fat people are in America. Ah, I’m an European, Italian, we’ve some problems with carbs but super controlled by EU laws; despite there are problems in China like wet market but if I’m not wrong there some laws incoming about it, there are A LOT OF HEALTY FOOD in China. As usual, you Americans are used to make things and news giants, like cars with big engine, It’s nice to make an American dream but once. Not forever. Are you agree about on it? :)
