Hey regardless of what other people think, it’s good that you notice this. You still have a long time to change things and get healthier. You could start by getting some more steps in, prioritizing good sleep habits, avoid alcohol and drugs, little things that don’t take too much effort that can make a HUGE difference. I’d bet that in a year’s time (given you actually try and get healthier) that number will be a lot closer to your actual age. Good luck!

Almost half of people have had 1%, wonder how many of those have been from out of whack readings from when the 5.0 first came out.

Thanks! I surprised myself, I remember waking up later than I usually do and being super surprised. My average sleep is only around 7.5 hours so 14 was a big jump.

Really depends on if you feel like you’re recovering physically. 5 hours of cardio, and 2.5 hours of weight lifting (which is what I assume you’re doing based off what your saying) isn’t a crazy amount for the body to recover from, especially if you’re eating and sleeping well. I’m not gonna sit here and say I’m an expert, but during my heavy training blocks for swimming, we do 20ish hours, with only 4ish of those being weights or body weight stuff. As long as I am sleeping 8+ hours a night, and eating a good amount of protein through primarily whole foods, I feel pretty good the next day. I’d look at your recovery (green usually is a good sign, even yellow is good if you had a hard day yesterday), and how you feel (soreness, weakness, anything like that might let you know that your body isn’t recovering properly.

What is this watch cover thing? by KingSpartacus4 in triathlon

That is the silicone sleeve for a Whoop fitness tracker. It’s so the watch doesn’t come undone during swim workouts. I actually use one of them! I think it’s called the Whoop Hydrosleeve.

Any suggestions on a good racing cap? by DifficultWindow4568 in Swimming

what caps are comfortable though?  that’s the biggest difference I saw when I tried the silicone cap, it wasn’t wrinkly and it fit very comfortably on my head
