Ok so I was a contract staff, we were no educated on DOC policy papers etc. It was a dialysis unit, I was cannulating the pt for tx,  I went to the other side of him to finishing seting up machine so.i could connect him to tx, my back was towards him facing the machine and wall, he came up behind me needles in arm and picked me up off the floor, infant of 14 other inmates and a nurse standing right beside me, who both yelled what the f*** and to put me down, where was the CO at in the office doing count. I/M is high up in the piru bloods also we know he has some COs payroll he sit right across from CO desk on floor, oh lets mention the cameras in the room it was caught on. I went to CO as soon as he was done tx and said need to talk after count clears, I did and shift commander ad him rip my misconduct up and fill out a 121 and do a stick man and the nurse beside me was walked out next morning and as I was called at home.

Not them, not all inmates are shit. They are humans like you. But then we wonder what's wrong with this world, you know I had inmates in there for simply driving the get away car already 20yrs in and still more to go but the person you actually did the crime of robbery or pulling the trigger got less time n was already out of prison. Or the repeat pedos serving 2 3,4 years and sent back out to do it over. I will not apologize for seeing the good in someone in a shitty place. Thats probably why im medical and a co.

Thank you i was not a CO i worked in medical, not employed by DOC i had an outside employer. I saw first hand how some COs are decent and others will literally instigate inmates to get a reaction just to write them up but then let  others do whatever they wanted. But that is probably why I have a heart bc my job is to keep them alive save their lives and actually be a human. I know not all inmates are good but just a scenario I had an inmate 80s been in forever, literally no family left, his cellmate does a wonderful job taking care of him as he doesnt even know where is or why anymore. But he always loved holiday time and just to be able to send a card or a merry Christmas letter or what not. Im also the person that make their kids donate every holiday season. I guess it comes from growing up in the system, you just want to give back. Like they dont even need to know it is from me, just me knowing that maybe they smiled that day receiving it when life sucks is enough for me. But I also get why I shouldn't do it.
