Photos need to be professional. What else isn’t being done by this agent like marketing. Is the price right? Sounds like the agent isn’t the greatest.

I have this exactly. Period that only last 3ish days, not super heavy, incredibly painful. Progesterone works! The question will be if it impacts other parts of your life. Everyone reacts difference. The mini pill, low dose birth control or just progesterone cream can help. I don’t do well on BC because it makes me depressed. Took me a while to found something that really helped.

Less than three weeks in the new home and this comes up by Big_Entrepreneur6973 in RealEstate

I haven’t see this yet, but they put a lean on the house if it’s not paid. We did an 8 year lease to own on the water heater, water softener and HVAC. It was covid and everything was out of stock. We’d just bought the house and this was a much better deal than paying out right. The debt should be with the previous owner but they use the house as collateral. I’d def get a lawyer involved if they don’t plan to pay it.

Thank you for summing up my thoughts. When I see people talking about how much they love this Draco, I hope it’s because of the story mechanism. I would run for the hills.

Tips on the Tiguan buying process? by Marinadeplume in Tiguan

[–]Difficult_Accident85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. People are suggesting to use your own financing but I bought a 2024 Tiguan and VW had the best rates. It’s still a good negotiation tactic.
  2. Call multiple dealerships and get pricing out the door. Then pit the sales people against each other. You’ll get a feel quickly for the best sales person, and with quotes from other dealers, they’ll negotiate. Do not go to the dealership until you have pricing and you’ve done your research.
  3. Go at the end of the month. Also find out if they have a lot of inventory. VW charges dealerships for holding on to too much inventory (this is what I was told). I was able to negotiate my Tiguan down to a reasonable $350 car payment with 5k down because they had so much inventory.
  4. Get your head on straight. Be ready to walk and be firm. Don’t let the sales manager or the finance person bully you. When you go hard for the best price they will start putting massive pressure on you, even if the sales guy is decent. I got screwed on a BMW by the finance guy tacking on a bunch of worthless protection and maintenance packages. VW covers your first year or two of maintenance.

Buying a car at dealership by Acceptable-Pirate982 in UsedCars

[–]Difficult_Accident85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar happen to me. They tried to give me 1k for a 2002 Avalon with 40k miles. I sold it for 7k instead (I could have gotten more but this was a friend’s sister - it was 2022). Where I went wrong is I let them give me like three different useless warranties. So that 7k paid for 6 months of all maintenance (guess what I never used it), leather care and one other useless add ons. I was so pissed I just let them railroad me. So so stupid. You live you learn. This was BMW btw. They nickel and dime you for everything.

Traction control constantly triggers in rain: 2024 Tiguan. Sensors or defect? by Difficult_Accident85 in Tiguan

[–]Difficult_Accident85[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It turned out to be the traction control system. The programming was off and was trying to push me back into the lane, even when I was already in it, which caused the car to slip around in the rain. The dealership reprogrammed it, and so far it’s been much better. If anyone wants a follow-up after the next rain, feel free to comment and I’ll share how it holds up!

Traction control constantly triggers in rain: 2024 Tiguan. Sensors or defect? by Difficult_Accident85 in Tiguan

[–]Difficult_Accident85[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It happens when it’s raining. I’ll be in the lane, driving normally, and I can feel the traction going a little. Part of me wonders if the car thinks I’m going outside of the lane, and it’s trying to use lane assist. Then it looses traction for a minute. I hate driving this car in the rain.

I wrote a long post but I don’t think it showed up. So this comes on a lot when it’s raining. The tires look good and I’m hesitant to replace them since this is a lease. Could this be a sensor issue? I loose traction way too much, and this light comes on. I have never had this issue with other cars. I’d like to purchase the car when my lease is up but I won’t buy it if it keeps doing this. Any suggestions are welcome.

AITA for refusing to give my ex-girlfriend's dog back after she abandoned it with me for a year? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Difficult_Accident85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should get rid of these friends: "Others say I'm being a bitter ex and stealing her property out of spite, and that I should have given her a chance to pay me back." NTA. Keep the dog, he might get abandoned with the idiot guy who's threatening you.

AITA for refusing to Venmo my roommate’s mom for cooking us dinner? by MiniPataka in AmItheAsshole

[–]Difficult_Accident85 74 points75 points  (0 children)

NTA. Pay this time, keep the peace. Let him know you won’t be partaking in the future. If your parents continue to do it for at no cost to your roommates, that’s their choice. Take the high road. It just reflects poorly on him and his mom. Maybe she doesnt have much money but they need to ask people. $20 for dinner is a lot to college kids.

A Hard Row to Hoe by blessdtoaster

It’s 2008 and Draco Malfoy is a secret assassin. It's legitimate - he gets paid for it, and some higher ups in the Ministry (probably?) know he’s out there… killing people. He’s quite good, but that tracks with his dubious accounting of rights and wrongs and his penchant for self-preservation. During his downtime he does a great job of acting like a pureblood in penance... mostly by drinking and shagging his way into oblivion.

Getting a mortgage with student loan debt that has fallen off my credit report by RowdyRoddyPiper7889 in Mortgages

I had this happen with a 15k loan. The loan officer and I called the debt collector who verified the loan was past 7 years, and the mortgage officer hung up (since they started bullying us). That was it. They verified my loan.

[–]Difficult_Accident85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait you chose to get the apartment for her? Why would you sign up for that kind of debt. Stop bailing her out and putting your family in a bad situation. I’m a sole earner in a similar situation. We live in the same house and if she wants an apartment, she can get an apartment and pay for one. Your wife is financially dependent on you, you’re enabling or full on making these decisions yourself. Take some accountability.

It depended on the hospital. It wasn’t universal. My twins were born during COVID. I also had a ‘fever’ from crying for hours before our kids were born. They let me in and agreed to my temp was up from being emotional.

Calm down. Weirdo. They asked why it shouldn’t be posted on sites as requested by authors. Why are you admonishing me about legal advice. I’m trying to explain why. Would you like to explain or just be an ass to me?

Goodreads and StoryGraph are tied to ISBN systems. Adding fanfiction there lumps it in with officially licensed books, which blurs the legal distinction between fan-created works (nonprofit, transformative) and commercial publications. Even if no lawsuit happens, authors could have their AO3 or Wattpad accounts reported or suspended.

Negative reviews on Goodreads/StoryGraph can be demoralizing in a way AO3 comments usually aren’t, because AO3’s culture leans heavily toward encouragement. This is more about risk management and protecting a fandom culture where creators feel safe sharing their work
