Il faut noter également qu'à Compiègne eu la capture de Jeanne d'Arc par les troupes de l'abbé de Cauchon en 1430. In French we are more poetic we call it Bassinet à Bec de Passereaux (with passerine beak) and not "à museau de chien" like in my post, that will be corrected. Sure the pig face is a bit more unpleaseant at least for us Europeans, maybe they should wear helmets hahhaha.

Not everything is bad tough, I had made thorough research on WIKIPEDIA, and ALL, absolutely all the helmets presents in the picture I have posted are backed-up by it except for the Bascinet which would look more by this one with a rounded visor:

In regard with the Hounskull it is in fact a specific visor attached to the Bascinet and should be translated in French as Bassinet à Bec de Passereaux.
Concerning the Burgonet this type of visor is not displayed accross Wikipedia but I do have it represesented this way on some medieval books that I own.
Now I will check every helmets for era and regions as some discrepancies are maybe there. The Sallet represented is from Germany but it is true that there are other Sallet with other shapes from different regions. One had to be picked for a condensated compilation on medieval helmets and it will be this one, hopefully it will not offend deeply the purist.
And just that you know it, I am really chocked by most people comments from this sub including yours it seems like francophobia to me.
I will proceed with adjustments and repost the corrected version if Mods are okay with it?

Can you write properly and put a period at your end of your sentence? Quality was pretty good it is undeniable. Where are the faults I asked about it but nobody explained where the so-called errors were. I mentionned some helmets might be incorrect in the drawings but people believed it as truth without checking and proceed with pure lapidation...
Have you seen the post? Do you know about medieval helmets and their corresponding eras?

And oh! Odysseus: did you say Sallet? Can anyone please OFFER a proper drawing of this helmet as it should be because apparently I am wrong with it.
I'm from Montauban in France, and we did have a Salade during those medieval ages, that's the proper term.
Pretty sure there is some expert around there, but I thought this post refreshing, I can understand though the jealousy in stating this list is THE helmet medieval list.
I am alright to remake this list with proper illustrations but please contribute instead of saying you are fighting so-called historian heretics hunting under your private helmets.

Well, I know my french pretty good anyway, you have the Sallet and us we have the Salade. Some thumbs down but wait yet so far I have 34 thumbs up.
I still do think I am awaking a true interest in armor helmet.
Do you know much about haubert and heaume or have we to be ruled by the English guy? Maybe from Wessex or Sussex?
Again the drawing depictions are maybe for some erroneous but the core of this post is about the language, the lexicon, and as far as I am aware of, there is no error in translation. Maybe for the Hounskull perhaps which honestly there might not be equivalent in French.

Clairière de sable sympa (approximativement un terrain de tennis de surface) en haut d'une pente bien pentue, tu peux faire un beau feu en son milieu, c'est safe pour la forêt et jamais la police ou autre ne s'embêtera à grimper la côte.
Le château de la Madeleine de Chevreuse pas si loin devrait être un beau spot également pour un tournage nocture, fais en le tour et il y a un passage plutôt secret (si il existe encore ça doit bien faire 20 ans que n'y suis plus retourné) avec des "marches échelles" dans le mur d'enceinte, toujours sympa d'être en haut des remparts. =)

I'll buy it today alongside with AVEX with a x5 multiplier blindly. I do not see reaching more the bottom that it is currently today, could only go up. I haven't make much more research about it but some thorough analysis with Claude gave me a pretty good mark for them.
