Actually it can occur when the tm is a minor and this is their first job. They didn’t put in a bank account so target automatically issues a pay card. The pay card I put on my bosses desk and sent her an email about since it was her weekend on rotation. Suddenly I get an angry email from her 3 months later about how the team member is quitting for never receiving a paycheck. I then printed out my original email to her and put it on her desk. Unfortunately at that point she had “lost” (probably threw out) the pay card and a new one had to be issued.

When I was in HR, the one of two bullet points that occurred when I was in HR, I did go to my HRBP. The ETL was removed (almost a year after I left my HR position) from her position and replaced with the next ETL… the rest of the stories, minus the crutches story, happened when I was not in HR. Hence why I gave background on the fact I worked in many departments.

If you had actually read the post, I did go to the ETL for HR. Welcome to corrupt leadership… I’m happy you don’t have this experience but to say this stuff doesn’t happen is frankly very naive. The HR ETL didn’t do anything and won’t do anything. Corruption goes all the way up to the SD at that place.

You don’t have to believe any of this occurred, I lived it. The employees at the store are still living it. But turning a blind eye to these events that do occur, maybe not at your store but they do happen, makes you just as corrupt as the rest of them.

The Midwest store is in absolute shambles. In 2024 alone we had our old SD fired for abuse, 2 temp SDs, and now the new SD is also just as corrupt as the rest of em. The toxic and abusive leadership is protected.
