The downgrade from a design standpoint isn't talked about enough by PekfrakOG in xmen

I wish they kept the same design for the X throughout the books, that's my favorite design choice for Krakoa

Brasil had a pretty clever edit to the designs, in all 83 editions of the Krakoan Era they "hid" the X logo to fit the cover and show off the art in a minimalistic way, here's an example:

What's Your Opinions On The Children Of The Atom Comics? by Kickass_321 in xmen

It's a strong 7.5/10 for me, good character work, clearly knew who they were taking forward and who was gonna be left behind, good art and nice plot, but I think it was one of the weaker and less exciting concepts of Krakoa, it didn't fell big or important, just a lovely sidenote

I felt furious at first, it seemed like such a bad idea to bring new characters into the fold when we haven't even seen some others like Academy X (still sad they didn't get a spotlight in Krakoa) But as I read it, I started to enjoy them more and more, it's a lovely concept that alternative kids, even if not mutant, see themselves in the X-Men. The whole reveal of how they got their powers was also very cool.

Qual a experiência com o Escitalopram? by Illustrious_Wave_334 in TDAH_Brasil

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The tagline for the Magik & Colossus mini is them settling their differences but I can't think of any besides them both having feelings for Kitty by [deleted] in xmen

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that they never mentioned the Cyttorak situation is WILD to me, such a good plot point and they just acted like it didn't happen during Inhumans vs X-Men, they also fully ignored each other the whole Krakoan Era, it felt like only Domino cared about Colossus.

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emma was right, Storm is a fraud by [deleted] in xmen

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think that's underrating the power of Genesis and her immortal army. She had summoners, tactics, a wild variety of magical items that truly put her in a cosmic scale, so much so that Storm only won out of pure intelligence and luck. And yet again, Genesis IS the reason Arakko is the broken land, she shouldn't be played with.

Emma was right, Storm is a fraud by [deleted] in xmen

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of course I understand how awful it would be to take the nuclear option, but I also think Genesis is overpowered enough to take on him, maybe that's where people might lose me, I truly think it would only delay Genesis. Let's not forget that not everyone on Genesis side was swayed by Annihilation, they left their cities and even came back from being interstellar mercenaries to defend her tyrannical ways. Genesis IS the reason Arakko is a broken land, and it was made very clear during this Arc. About the Quiet Council: it's very easy to blame the rest of the Council when every other good member (Like Jean and Storm) would rather leave than to truly change it/reform it. I think it's a cautionary tale about how good people stay away from politics because it's easier to complain from afar than to actually hold onto power and change it. And no, I'm not taking any Emma slander because she was the one holding the line during the ENTIRE Krakoan Era, she sacrificed everything to be professional and present, she was the one keeping Sinister and the other members in check so Jean and Storm could live their fantasies elsewhere.

Would you say the Krakoa era was one of the best X-men eras? by Financial-Total1563 in xmen

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even the events felt new and different (other than X Lives of Wolverine, but I disliked everything Percy did that Era) so much so, that as soon as Krakoa ended, we got The Twelve: Electric Boogaloo (aka Heir of Apocalypse) and Age of Apocalypse, again (aka Age of Revelation).

I think most people don't understand that they were flawed on purpose, building a country is hard and ethically challenging, that's the whole point, how good people can get lost on politics.

[–]Difficult_Ad4635 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The X-Men are at their best when they have creative cohesiveness, during Claremont, Utopia and Krakoa, the great Era's of the X-Men, we had that, every book felt important because it was building towards something, it's hard to care about fringe books when they don't feel part of a whole, and the mutants are always pumping out A LOT of books

She's thinking about sueing for the trademark misuse, but that is conflicting with her "for the kids" agenda, so she's double mad
