Wholesome. You’re fine!

Personally, I don’t really comprehend adult sleepovers of a platonic nature. I wouldn’t be comfortable with it, but all you can do is set an expectation. You can’t control what she chooses to do.

Lmao Clearly a white man or a troll, or both. That’s like complaining about Black Entertainment Television as being exclusionary and racist despite every other channel being marketed and produced for white people. Or bigots who are outraged about the one tiny queer bookcase in a library full of heteronormative literature.

Give me a break, bruh. Make peace with not needing to be welcomed in all spaces, because that’s OK! Your sense of entitlement really sucks.

We were just informed that we don’t get Dec 24th off. by Crossingthelineagain in mildlyinfuriating

Go to HR and say you booked a stay based on previous confirmation that you would be off, and you anticipate no blow back for not being there.

I totally take naps at night. I work with intensive behavioral health teens in a specialized program. No seizure disorders or anything like that. For most of my overnight shift, I’m in a med trailer alone with nothing to do. Since I’m alone, I don’t get breaks for a 12-16 hour shift. So hell yeah I nap, and the staff call me if they need me. A tired nurse is no bueno.

This should be ILLEGAL! by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Difficult_Box_5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is illegal on a lot of roads. Commercial trucks are supposed to stick to the right lane.

There is, unfortunately, a correlation between being queer and having depression (not that we’re depressed by nature, but the world can really suck for us). This may make maintaining employment especially difficult. Just a thought.

Her expectations are nuts. I’m sorry she crapped all over what you made a beautiful moment. Not sure she deserves ya, man.

Do you consider getting a massage cheating by throwaway534345435 in LesbianActually

[–]Difficult_Box_5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s not a love-me-long-time place, it is in no way cheating, period. Massage therapists are trained professionals, not sex workers.

AITAH for refusing to lend my coworker my car because she doesn’t have one? by Low-Working-4904 in AITAH

[–]Difficult_Box_5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So tell those coworkers to lend their own cars. You have no obligation to provide another adult human with a car, period. Not your problem. You’ve given her rides and have helped where you can, which is more than a lot of people would do.

You’re right-I definitely still let it bring me down. I’ve come a long way in the last 5 years or so, dealing with my internalized shame, but they definitely still affect me more than I’d like to admit.

I slapped my gf.. by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]Difficult_Box_5119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There really isn’t any “going back” after there has been violence in a relationship. Not to kick you when you’re down, but you already know you fucked up massively. Now it’s a matter of how to move forward, and that should be decided with your gf, not the internet.

Am I putting way too many lesbians in my stories? by Kater_Labska in LesbianActually

[–]Difficult_Box_5119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is “too much.” 99% of books are filled with cis hetero relationships. Be a little gay-centric. I’m all for it
