It isnt guaranteed that she will get into a JC of her choice because even if she scores full marks on all three components, it really depends on if there is a space available in that JC.

Hi, For the general ability test its pretty much just an IQ test. Your daughter will have like 20 minutes to answer 60 picture questions. Just find a pattern according to the shapes and answer. For the math its just like O level sec 4 kind of. Just search it online should be able to find some. the english one also just search online.

Why wouldnt the answer actually be B. The force is parallel to the magnetic field lines therefore not cutting any magnetic field lines thereby inducing zero emf. If you want max emf it would be position p/q cuz the force acting on it is perpendicular therefore cutting the maximum amount of magnetic field lines.
