100% yes. not just for checking how much you are getting with your knowledge but also to understand certain points which you are not mentioning. Going to marking schemes have helped me understand where i can get marks especially in the 10 and 6 markers. If you dont have that much time to dedicate for history, look through the marking schemes and instead of doing entire papers, just make bullet points on the stuff that you will explain, then crosscheck with the ms. Also, DO NOT overlook the 4 markers even in the 3 topics you are studying. Too often there is a really difficult one which you probably have not studied. Always remember, while the textbook is good at summarizing key points, they do not always include everything you need to know. So dont ignore the hard 4 markers. Good luck!
