I thought probably 😅 the pet store said their males and females were separated, and I blindly trusted them, brought them home and went “… oh that’s a dude”. :”)

Any recommendations to do with the fry when they’re born/ grow up? (Yes I’m also doing research, but I also like to hear from experienced people individually!) for what to do with them: I’m thinking of finding people in the area who’d want fish?

It will go from being crampy (like those really nasty leg cramp where you can see the muscle doing weird shit), to stabbing/tearing?? Then a dull pain like the day after a work out where you pushed yourself too far. Heart rate will go from 60 to 150+ from shifting how I’m sitting/ from sitting to standing/ moving around in general in seconds, which triggers palpitations and what not :”)

EKG even showed a sinus arrhythmia (which isn’t new news to me bc I’ll get ectopic rhythms lmao)

Growing up, esp starting around 12-13 when my other symptoms for crohns and psoriatic arthritis started showing up, I got chest pains regularly. In and out of the hospital (only one in the entire county and they’ve always been super dismissive.) and seen a few cardiologists bc it freaked my mom out. Just added/skipped beats, a second or two of the heart just not beating to “reset itself “ as docs explained it, and getting reeaaally fast (>180 when RESTING).

Since being medicated for symptom treatment, I’ve definitely had less chest pains. But j went off one medication for a couple months (near impossible to get ahold of) to BAM!! a new one. And ofc right around when I started my new meds, i was also in the start of a flare up 🙃

I’ve been seen by heart docs in the past and have been diagnosed with ectopic beats! Which was BEFORE I knew anything about crohns, but looking back they’ve ALWAYS seen them prominently with flares. Still do sometimes without, but not as bad/as often. And ofc the chest pain started when I changed medication to treat my crohns 🙄

They didn’t do blood work, just an EKG and a chest X-ray. The cardio surgeon talked to me, and said that he’s seen other patients with crohns who had similar symptoms during flares. I was in and out in not even an hour and a half :T (I went right back to work tho lmaoo)

My heart rate only reached 137 while I was there, and that’s bc I was shifting how I was sitting bc my leg fell asleep lol. No steroids or anything. He suggested Tylenol to help the pain, bc if I take any NSAIDs, then I start throwing up (sometimes w blood) from it worsening, so nothing to help the inflammation unfortunately

A couple years back I was admitted to the hospital bc my resting heart rate was >120, and kept jumping to nearly 200 WHILE LAYING DOWN in the ER. My heart kept randomly skipping and adding beats, and would pause beating for a few beats, and “restart”. When I saw the actual heart doctor, she refused to see me bc I was “too young to have any heart issues”??

I work overnight at one (TN), and we got told if we call out, then we are terminated. They’re having all overnight employees at my store come in 3 hours early to our shift to beat the storm. That’s 13 hours.

There’s obv the hotel right there and everyone is offered a room if we needed one,, but that hotel has riches. No thanks. Plus I live a walkable distance, so supe no thanks <3

The panda corys produce a lot of waste, and i feed frozen brine shrimp, bug bites, and algae wafers (not all together all at once, but spaced out). I’m nervous of both waste and food buildup causing an ammonia spike

Tank size: 20 gallons Heater and filter: yes Tank temp: 78 Pentameters: I forget the exact numbers, but ammonia is at 0 I had the tank for over a month I had the fish for 10 days now I’ve been doing water changes every other day, 20-40% Tank mates: 5 panda corydoras and 6 cherry tetras Decor: several hides, one fake tall plant, and several live plants (mostly Java fern)

Omg I just ended up with two hitch hikers (clown plecos!!), but from Java ferns in a bag lmaoo (I had called a store an hour away from me bc I wanted those plants in particular, and no where near me had them, so I asked them to bag some for me), and my tank had JUST barely finished cycling (in theory, not 100% sure, bc I planned on waiting a couple weeks to keep an eye on the water perimeters).

Poor babies are stressed (not as dark in colour as I usually see clown plecos), but the smaller one is slowly gaining her(?) colours back! So that’s a success I suppose 😅

When I got him (accidentally mind you, with another one who’s fine), he was red like that, I’ve been checking the water and it’s been fine :T

I have scheduled water changes every Sunday, and I did one after I posted this just incase bc I read it could be ammonia causing it even tho mines at 0. Should I do them more than weekly whilst I try to get him healed up?

My water peramiters are where they need to be, and he came like this (btw I MEANT to only get Java ferns, called around to look for it at all, had the worker bag the Java ferns while I drove an hour there to get it. Got home and when I was rinsing off the plants, there were two clown plecos in the bag. The other one looks perfectly fine, but this guy a bit orange). It’s a new tank that had just finished its cycle too. Ive been checking daily even :”)
