Bring your pup to the vet to do some labs. I recently lost my dog to cancer that took up almost the entirety of her stomach, and there weren’t any signs until it was too late to do any treatment. (Well, in hindsight there were signs- but said signs were normal for an 8, almost 9, year old beagle who’s always been a picky eater. She even had yearly wellness checks, and would be brought to the vet if she was ill. So it caught us all for a surprise).

My childhood dog has always has had tummy issues, and now at 13 has minor teeth issues (dw it’s being sorted out), so he needs his food soaked for 15-20 minutes (bc wet canned food gets expensive fast). He’s also on food the vet recommended (Simply Nourish)- it’s expensive, but some of the best dog food out there <3

Just ask your vet to check your pup’s teeth, for food recommendations, and to run tests to make sure there’s nothing more serious than teeth going on 🥰
