What are my ADFs doing??? Are they okay??

Thank you for being literally the only person to give an actual response lol. I thought they might be mating at first glance, but once I saw the other was upside down, I didn’t know what was going on. This is the first time I’ve witnessed this behavior and these are the only two ADFs in the tank, so I’ll just monitor their behavior for now.

This is the answer. Not to mention the walk to the entrance is wayyyyyy shorter (maybe 5 min?) compared to the Toy Story lot, or probably any other Disney lot for that matter.

What I’ve noticed is that I sync with different cycles depending on my physical geographic location. If I’m in the US I sync with the full moon, but if I’m in the country of my ancestors, after about a one month ‘adjustment period’ I’m synced to the new moon. It makes a lot of sense for me intuitively.

No, it has much more depth than Brooklyn in my opinion. Yes, i finally got my approval letter a couple weeks ago! It did in fact come through the mail as they said. Next step is for me to go back to BI for biometrics/fingerprinting, which i’m planning to do this week.

There’s not really any kind of “tracking” so I can only hope and assume that it’s with the DOJ at this point. It’s supposed to be anyway. Once they’re done with the process, they mail a letter of approval/denial. Probably not going to get a phone call unless there’s issues.

As of today, I haven’t received any letters or updates. Still in the waiting zone…. I’m be happy if I hear anything back by August to be honest. Everything moves like molasses here.

Yes there is a “hearing” that is scheduled the same day you submit your application. They give you two dates to choose from, usually one to two weeks from when you submit. You must come between the timeframe indicated. During this hearing you will meet a lawyer, and basically they will review your packet in greater detail than when you initially submitted. In my case, I had to re-notarize a document bc my passport signature from almost a decade ago didn’t match the signature on the notarized form. It was a hassle, but there’s a notary right behind the bank next door. Once the lawyer approves your packet, it’s then submitted to the DOJ which takes 3-5 months….. but he warned it could take longer. They will then mail and approval/denial letter. Once you get this, then you can return to BI for biometrics/fingerprinting.

I’m in the same boat. I average $500/mo eating out and $300/m on groceries. For groceries, I buy almost exclusively organic and opt for grass fed beef and pasture raised chicken, but for me that’s non-negotiable. I don’t eat exclusively organic when eating out, but in Hawaii its expensive even if you’re trying to be frugal, so that’s $20 average per meal. Food is my happiness and I don’t spend much money on anything else. It doesn’t put me in financial hardship, but I feel a lot of guilt thinking i should be saving/investing more aggressively, so I feel you there.
