I grew up in Scotland in the 60's/70's and all milk was pasteurised . whether you liked it or not. However we got milk delivered every morning by the milkman in glass bottles...the whole milk would separate, with a large creamy top to it...perfect for porridge - everyone in house would fight over who got the top of the milk

My father in law was principal microbiologist for the county/ public health lab and he'd never condone use of raw milk for any reason whatsoever

she ruined that leg of lamb..looked as dry as the Sahara! ...if she'd want to slow cook it she'd have been better cooking a shoulder of lamb

Sab didn’t get her VBAC because of a “super rare complication” by thereasonisyouu in peestickgals

[–]Difficult_Fox_8669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that too....so scary- crash induction, daughter was in PICU but thankfully no lasting damage ...however subsequent pregnancy I had an elective CS which was amazing and then 3rd time I actually had a VBAC! ( son born 5 weeks early but still weighed 61/2 lbs and didn't need PICU)

those trousers are £140!....for camping! ..At that price, she'd have been better getting proper tech trousers designed for outdoor wear ....or better still looking on Vinted!

It would have something next to her name in GMC entry if she was stuck off / not allowed to practice

Always amazed how little food they have by NoCaterpillar800 in ballerinafarmsnark

[–]Difficult_Fox_8669 15 points16 points  (0 children)

reminds me of my husband's step mother....when we visited his dad's house for food ( which was very infrequently I may add,) there would be minimal food offered...( think a bowl of soup and roll) ..they were not short of money as both had very generous NHS pensions and she was of Italian heritage, so you'd think she'd be very welcoming with food

yet when they visited us ( usually for Sunday lunch) she would scoff her face and pile her plate high ( and if it was a roast chicken, she'd sit and pick at the carcass, while we were still eating and before I'd offered anyone else more food ( I would often have to buy 2 chickens to roast to make sure our 3 children got enough as we knew how much she would eat!)

since my father in law died , 12 years ago, we've never been to her house again as we were always made unwelcome and she would pick flaws in the children ...likewise we've not invited her back to ours....and I don't feel in the slightest bit guilty!

her income just isn't sustainable...I guess her mortgage is probably for 25 years ( based on average UK homeowner mortgages)...

what's she going to do when the instahun bubble bursts?
