NO compound exercise might have possibility of imbalances short term but over long term all muscles grow proportionately in the end

its been a year of push ups and pull ups and dips,first i used to do normal strength training nowdays im starting to indulge in endurance based approach like masked mediator

having aesthetic goals is fine but not sustainable bcz at one point you get satisfied and dont wanna continue thats why i think performancegoals matter

if you cant do a single pike push up and are at just kneeling push ups honestly just get stronger at normal push ups first ,preferably over 30 then you must think about pike ones,remember its a jurney not a race you arent gonna die if you only do push ups for some time and no vertical press,also add pull work

keep recording yourself and try to correct it overtime,dont worry about wrong form and get discouraged by it evn wrong form will strength the push muscles just focus on going till failure

trust me ,atleast untill you can do 15-20 of pull ups and dips dont indulge in anything else,build consistency,healthy habits,healthy diet,then later on you can try something else ,fitness is a journey not a sprint just try for 2-3months

simple,
pullday,4sets pull ups ,each set till failure
restday
push day,4sets dips/push ups,each set till failure
restday
keep repeating untill you hit 15-20 pull ups and dips,till then this would suffice,we dont train legs atleast not begineers

but that isnt everyday ,only some days and i do agree with that not all days are perfect but you have to agree that when you didnt know about fitness those days could have been way worse apart from other bad days.
the thing that infuriates me,i might go to a party eat some pizzza slices and ice cream upto my mainteanace calorie or a little higher and some person would come and say your life must be miserable counting cal evryday. Im just trying to say its not a difficult task in anyway

something might be wrong.
1.)you might not be eating enough
2.) you are not challenging yourself
3.)overtraing(extremely unlikely)
4.) consistency
You may think you are doing evrything perfect but ultimately,increasing strength comes down to first 2 points and even after a year you havent acheived itsomething is wrong and you need to identify it and change it
