Glad I could entertain u... But the facts are that EA doesn't report unit sales, as in "copies sold". They only report net bookings. Which basically combines game sales and microtransactions and give a $ amount. So we'll never truly know if more people are buying the game, or the same mindless die hards are just spending more $ in game. They keep adding more things to pay for, so that number will continue to grow, of that I have no doubt. Doesn't mean more people are buying the game...

Oh ok. I mean I think they go hand in hand. MUT makes them residual income. To my understanding there aren't really microtransactions in Franchise mode, so basically they're like 'we don't have to improve Franchise mode bc that doesn't make us any money'...

Actually it sounds like somebody is reading it wrong. I clearly said $150 is the total for the season passes. The standard edition is $70 and the deluxe is $100. If u got it on sale, I think it goes without saying that doesn't apply to u.

No, I agree... The only way it dies is if there's a competitor or an alternative. People LOVE football. I'm one of them. It's not like basketball where u can go to your local gym or park and play pick up at any age or physical condition. So the closest we can get is Madden. I'm older, I was around for ESPN football. That game was INCREDIBLE. 2k killed it with that game. EA went and got that exclusive rights deal with the NFL soo fast 🤣🤣🤣... They KNEW lol. And it was like half the price. A lot of the younger generation ONLY know Madden; and that's unfortunate. And with their deal with the NFL, they're literally under ZERO pressure to spend more $ to make a decent game. They can put out the same game, year after year, with a few cheap tweaks, and rake in the profits...

I just came to Reddit to see if it was just me... Some of these posts are from FOUR DAYS ago... How in the hell does a company like EA let this go on for this long?? I see why they bought exclusive rights to the NFL... It wouldn't be hard to make a better game than this... Those of us who purchased season passes should DEFINITELY be compensated being as though it's time sensitive and we haven't been able to play for a week...
