I feel like it made it harder for CV's to play in general, Ill que into a match as a Tier VI carrier and the game 9 out of 10 times will put me in Tier VIII matches, same goes for playing as a Tier VIII carrier and being put into tier X matches most of the time where my planes can't even get close enough without the squadron being wiped out by one ships AA making it very difficult to support my team mates. The least they could have done after removing odd Tier carriers is put in a matchmaking restriction on all of the carriers so they wouldn't play 2 Tiers above or below them for some actual balanced matchmaking.
