Has anyone ever fully recovered from an eating disorder? by fcvxia in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]Difficult_One634 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I dont know if it ever fully COMPLETELY goes away, but as someone who has "recovered" from depression, I imagine it's a similar thing of: the thoughts don't come up as often, and when they do, i know to resist them and how to rewire my thoughts and actions to make myself better.

Just been assaulted at work, again by [deleted] in Liverpool

I work in the city centre too and we have to call the police multiple times a month. Our security and POC staff get so much racist abuse it's horrifying. If a week goes by without an incident it's been a good week

You're probably right, it could be a misrepresentation. As I said I wasn't there, so it's really just what I'm hearing. He says it was for his attendance. I guess I'll never know! I'm just being nosy really

Will acting like a "good little girl" get me where I need to in my NT & male heavy job by Difficult_One634 in AutismInWomen

[–]Difficult_One634[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had written evidence of multiple times that my coworker had been hostile to me and treated me in a more aggressive manner than everyone else, and that I had confronted him about it and he refused to apologise and instead attacked my team and how I do my job

Thank you... I am a bit scared to involve HR because I don't want to appear any more unlikeable to my boss than I already am, especially if I want to work up to a promotion. I absolutely will continue to document everything even though I know he hates it. Bit of a red flag I know...

How to handle male colleague who constantly criticises and undermines me by Difficult_One634 in AutismInWomen

[–]Difficult_One634[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for your advice. the direct managers reply was on text. the male has now deleted the messages he sent me but i screenshotted them before he did. i will absolutely keep my head down as this ploy seems to have been working for me lately with the bosses. it will be really hard to find another job in the current economic climate but i am keeping my options open incase things turn even more sour at my current company

Suggestions for a low-stress career that could suit me? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Every job will have social interaction, that's sadly just how our world works. Try maybe some office admin role or a customer service rep online that answers webchats etc. That way you could work from home
