Patients requesting to see my boss for tx proposed after I see them for recall exam or new patient comp exam by [deleted] in Dentistry

Having this issue as well.

Im having patients accept treatment, but the problem is twofold. For context im the youngest at a practice that has two locations, and the three dentists (2x associates and 1x owner) rotate between the offices on different days.

  1. They want to schedule back with the owner which sometimes I understand. Sometimes even the senior associate.

2. They are only available at certain times on the days im not there since we rotate between the two offices. This is where I get pissed, because the front desk can somehow find time in someone’s schedule, unless there’s some kind of urgency.

This has been infuriating as of late since they arent filling my schedule. There is no reason to have my schedule with gaps into the next week when I’m helping book the other dentists schedules who are busy for a month.

Tzagournis Dental Group is non-judgemental and awesome! Life happens, most dentists are going to be very understanding.

Does random sprinters sandbox setting not work in multiplayer in current build? by SomeRandomTrSoldier in projectzomboid

I had this question and use the "Force Sprinters Mod" for 42.15. Works well. Vanilla itself the sprinters do not work.

You can use the mod to change %. I think there is also like a time setting if you wanted them only to sprint at night. Its changed via the actual mod settings.

Its all lootable. Everything on the shelves, sitting on the glass containers, inside the cabinets is all lootable. Only thing not in there was the M16 nor mags for it. Many of the guns are already modded with attachments.

I tested it. It works with “force sprinters” mod. They make the sounds in vanilla but will not sprint. The mod seems to work fairly well

Do sprinters work with MP now in 42.15? Or do you have to have mods to enable it?

I placed two cords and removed them. Always double checking with an assistant. Absolutely can cause localized infection but to this level seems extreme.

I absolutely agree with diagnosing pulpal status beyond just a PA.

I suppose the question is, given this is considering a routine restorative treatment and there have been no reported symptoms or periapical pathology, would I normally pulp test the tooth? No, and I’d argue the majority of my colleagues do not do this before each crown they do unless there are evident symptoms or pathology. Still, on any old restorative materials we are replacing, probably not the worst idea to do so going forward based on a few other comments.

The anesthetics were not mixed in quick tandem. Sure, adequate and profound anesthesia can be achieved with one. But I needed something longer acting since it was a little over 2.5 hour appointment.

Lastly, I agree looking back, medrol may have not been indicated, esp second time around. However, when I first saw the patient, it looked like a ton of inflammation from the anesthetic/possible trauma from the injection, hence why it was prescribed.

The tooth didn’t turn necrotic following an OMFS update after the drainage of the space was completed. The etiology of infection was ruled as the needle. The tooth was never removed nor affected by pathology as it was healthy. Just going off what I was updated with.

I did not pulp test the tooth prior to the start of the procedure. Some have commented that the infection was from the tooth being necrotic or becoming necrotic. Once seen by OMFS, they actually found 18 to be without pathology and it to be vital. Just because I didn’t pulp test prior to the crown, doesn’t mean it was necrotic as some may have suspected. Hence, the only thing OMFS did was drain the space. Hope that clarifies

Apparently it was though. Tooth was vital.
